Özet
A ventral hernia is a common complication that occurs after a laparotomy. It is also a major, common, and recurring complication in reconstructed hernias. Component separation, component separation + mesh, mesh only, and primary closure + mesh are among the often resorted procedures for ventral hernias. Although the importance of autologous tissue support is well-accepted, it is not often reported in the literature. Here, we presented a case and the technique, in which the ventral hernia treatment was supported with inferior de-epithelialized dermal flaps during abdominoplasty.
