dc.description.abstractAmaç: Çalışmanın amacı bir sağlık yüksekokulu hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin merhamet düzeyleri ve merhamet düzeylerini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki çalışma bir sağlık yüksekokulunun hemşirelik bölümünde yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacılar tarafından literatür doğrultusunda oluşturulan, "Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu" ve Pommier (2010) tarafından geliştirilen "Merhamet Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizleri bir istatistik paket programında frekans, Mann-Whitney U Testi, Kruskal-Wallis H Testi, Bonferroni Düzeltmesi, Spearman Korelasyon testleri kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmanın örneklemini 494 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin %83.6' sının kadın ve %26.7'sinin 4.sınıf öğrencisi olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin merhamet ölçeği puan ortalaması 4.19±0.44 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ölçekten alınan puanlara bakıldığında; cinsiyete göre umursamazlık, bağlantısızlık, bilinçli farkındalık, ilişki kesme alt boyutları ve ölçek genel puanı açısından istatistiksel olarak anlaml? farkl?l?k tespit edilmi?tir. Ayr?ca s?n?flara göre bilinçli fark?ndal?k alt boyutu ve ö?rencilerin gelir durumlar?na göre payla??mlar?n bilincinde olma alt boyutu aç?s?ndan istatistiksel olarak anlaml? farkl?l?k bulunmu?tur. Sonuç: Ö?rencilerin merhamet düzeylerinin cinsiyet, s?n?f ve gelir durumu de?i?kenleri aç?s?ndan farkl?l?k gösterdi?i belirlenmi?tir. Ara?t?rmadan elde edilen bulgular do?rultusunda, ölçekten al?nabilecek en yüksek puan?n 5 olmas? göz önünde bulunduruldu?unda ö?rencilerin merhamet düzeylerinin yüksek oldu?u görülmektedir. dc.description.abstractObject: The aim of this study is to determine the level of compassion and the factors that affect the level of compassion of nursing students in a health college. Methods: The descriptive study has been conducted in a nursing department of a health college. "Introductory Information Form" by the researchers in accordance with the literature and developed by Pommier (2010) "Compassion Scale" has been used as the data collection tool. Analyzes of the data were conducted by using frequency, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis H Test, Bonferroni Correlation, Spearman correlation tests in a statistical package program. Results: The sample of the research has been consisted of 494 students. It has been determined that 83.6% of the students were female and 26.7% of them were 4th grade students. The mean score of the students' compassion scale was determined as 4.19 ± 0.44. Considering the scores received from the scale; statistically significant difference has been determined in terms of negligence according to the sex, indifference, separation, mindfulness, disengagement subscales and scale overall score. In addition, statistically significant difference has been determined in terms of mindfullness sub-dimension according to the classes. There was a statistically significant difference in the subscale of common humanity according to the income status of the students. Discussion:It has been determined that the levels of compassion of the students differ in terms of gender, class and income status. Considering the highest score that can be received from the scale to be 5 in the direction of the findings obtained from the research, it is seen that the levels of compassion of the students are high. This study may be suggested to be performed in larger sample groups.en_US
