Özet
The aim of this study was to produce an easy, reproducable method for measuring anal pressures. We used a Sangataken-Blakemore tube. The tube was connected to a mercury manometer by a stopcock connecter. After calibration of the system by inflating the distal (gastric) baloon with serum physiologic, resting, squeezing and straining anal pressures were measured. System was trained on preliminary twenty patients without any misconception. All the anal pressures were similar with those presented in the literature. Anal manometry can be done with this easy constructable system. This method can easily be used and reproducable.
