Özet
Bu araştırma 1963 yılında Almanya Aşağı Saksonya Eyaleti Braunschweig kentinde kurulan Braunschweig Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesini (Hochschule für Bildende Künste HBK) ve buradaki sanat eğitimini incelemektedir. Araştırmanın amacı ülkemizde özellikle son yıllarda açılan yeni üniversitelerle yaygınlaşan ve önem kazanan sanat eğitimi ile ilgili düşünce ve çalışmalara katkıda bulunmaktır. Bununla birlikte bu araştırma Almanya'da Berlin, Münih, Dresden gibi köklü sanat geçmişi olan kentlerin akademileri arasından sıyrılarak 47 yıl gibi kısa bir zamanda büyüyen ve Almanya'nın ikinci büyük Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi hâline gelen bir eğitim kurumunun gelişim öyküsünü ve yapılanmasını irdelemektedir. Araştırma boyunca biçimsel olarak diploma süreci ve önemli tarihlere bakılmanın yanı sıra öğrenimin yapılandırılması, sınavlar, teknik atölyeler gibi üst başlıklar altında da incelenmiştir. İçerik olarak ise kurumun amaçlan ve ders üniteleri başlıklarına bakılmıştır.
This study examines the Braunschweig Academy of Fine Arts (Hochschule für Bildende Künste HBK) located in the Lower Saxony State in Braunschweig, Germany which was founded in 1963 and the fine arts education given at this academy. The purpose of the study is to contribute to fine arts education which has gained importance and become widespread in Türkiye through the new universities that were founded. Moreover, the study scrutinizes the development and structuring of the academy in becoming the second fine arts school of Germany,in as little as 47 years among other German academies of fine arts such as Berlin, Munich, and Dresden which have deeply rooted traditions in fine arts. During the research period, in addition to examining how to get a diploma and the important institutional dates, structuring of education, examination methods, and technical studios in the academy were examined as well. As for content, the objectives of the institution and course unit titles were inquired.
