In her book, LauraHassan takes Sayf al-Dīn al-Āmidī(d. 631/1233) as a representative of post-AvicennanAshʿarītheology and shows the nature and extent of Ibn Sīnā’sinfluence on al-Āmidī’sthought by focusing on the problem of the creation of the world.en_US
