dc.description.abstractSuriye krizinin çözu?mu? ile u?lkedeki kalıcı barışın tesis edilmesinde önemli bir faktör olarak göru?len demokrasiyi kısaca analiz eden bu çalışma, Suriye için nasıl bir demokrasinin olabileceğini SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats - Gu?çlu? yönleri, Zayıf yönleri, Fırsatlar, Tehditler) analiz bağlamında incelemektedir. Suriye’deki toplumlar arasındaki çatışmalara yol açan faktörlere ve Suriye’deki hu?ku?met ve muhalif unsurlarının demokrasiyle ilgili yaklaşımlarına değinen bu çalışma, Suriye’nin toprak bu?tu?nlu?ğu? dahilinde bu?tu?n farklı etnik, dinsel ve mezhepsel unsurların barış içinde demokratik bir yapıda yaşamaları konusunda fırsat alanlarını araştırmaktadır. Çok katmanlı toplum göru?ntu?su?nu? veren Suriye toplumunun sosyal yapısı ile siyasal özelliklerini dikkate alarak demokrasi yönu?nden Suriye’nin gu?çlu? ve zayıf yönlerini inceleyen çalışmamız bu konuda fırsatların ve tehditlerin neler olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractAnalyzing briefly the context of democracy which seen as an important factor for solution of Syrian crisis and permanent peace in the country this study examines how a democracy model can be possible in Syria in the context of SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. Dealing with the factors leading to conflicts among Syrian societies and approaches of government and the opposition groups, the study researches the opportunity areas for all different ethnic, religious and sectarian groups to live in a peaceful co-existence within the framework of territorial integrity of Syria. Taking into account the social structure and political features of Syrian community which appears to be multi-layer image, our study examines the strengths and weaknesses of Syria in respect of democracy and reveals the opportunities and threats in this context.en_US
