dc.description.abstractBilgi çağında ekonomik rekabet, Ar-Ge ve inovasyon aracılığıyla, köklü bir değişim geçirmiş, bu dönemde “Bilim ve Teknoloji (BT) Kapasitesini” geliştirebilen ülkeler rekabet üstünlüğü sağlamıştır. Bu dönemde ülkelerin BT kapasitesini artırmak amacıyla başvurduğu kurumlardan biri de teknoparklardır. Teknoparklar, piyasanın yetersiz olduğu Ar-Ge ve inovasyon faaliyetleri için altyapı sağlamakta ve vergisel ya da genişletilmiş teşvik araçlarıyla girişimcilere farklı avantajlar sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada amacımız, Türkiye’deki teknoparkların girişimcilere, Ar- Ge personeline ve yönetici şirketlere sunduğu teşvikleri incelemek ve teknoparkların, 2001 yılından beri uygulanan teşviklerin de katkısıyla, Türkiye’nin BT kapasitesinin temel göstergelerine (Ar-Ge yoğunluğu, Ar-Ge personeli istihdamı, patent üretimi ve YTÜ ihracı) yaptığı katkıları tespit etmektir.en_US
dc.description.abstractEconomic competitiveness in the age of information has had a drastic change through R&D and innovation; during this period, countries that could develop their“Science and Technology (S&T) Capacity” have had a competitive advantage. In this new era, technoparks are one of the institutions to which countries have applied in order to increase their S&T capacity. Technoparks provide the infrastructure for R&D and innovation activities in which the market falls behind, and offer different advantages to entrepreneurs by means of tax or extended incentives. This study aims to examine the tax incentives technoparks in Turkey offer to entrepreneurs, R&D staff and managing companies, and to identify the contributions technoparks made to main indicators of Turkey’s S&T capacity (R&D intensity, employment of R&D staff, patent production and exports of high technology products) with the contributions of tax incentives implemented since 2001.en_US
