Özet
Common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), also known as kid ney bean, is an important export crop for Kyrgyzstan. In June 2019, several bean plants in three felds in Bishkek displayed wilting and chlorosis of the leaves, with up to 10% incidence. Stem and root sections of symptomatic plants exhibited the presence of necrotic tissues and dark microsclerotia. Symptomatic tissue segments were surface disinfected with 1% NaOCl solution for 3 min, rinsed twice with sterile distilled water, and plated on potato dextrose agar (PDA).
