Özet
Kırk sekiz yaşında erkek hasta spiral ile metal keserken sol gözüne metal parçası geldiğini fark etmiş. Acil servise başvuran hastanın ilk muayenesinde sol gözde görme keskinliği 20/60 idi. Biomikroskopik muayenede sol kornea nazalinde parasantral alanda perforasyon hattı saptandı. Seidel testi negatif idi.
A 48 year-old male noticed a foreign body in his left eye when he was cutting metal with spiral saw. On emergency room admission, visual acuity was 20/60 on left eye. On biomicroscopic examination, a paracentral corneal perforation on the nasal quadrant of the left eye was detected. Seidel test was negative. Anterior capsule of the lens had been perforated and foreign body had been embedded in the lens. Posterior capsule was intact. At the end of 24 hours of follow up, surgery was planned because of increased inflammation and lens opacification. Four weeks after foreign body removal, lens aspiration and intraocular lens implantation surgery, visual acuity improved to 20/20. In this case report, we aimed to report the treatment of a patient with metallic intralenticular foreign body injury who had intact posterior lens capsule.
