Türkiye'de dis¸ hekimlerinin endodontik tedavi görmüş dis¸lerde üst restorasyon tercihlerinin ı·ncelenmesi

Endodontik tedavili dişlerde üst restorasyonun, endodontik tedavinin sonucunu etkileyebileceği kanıtlanmış bir gerçektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'deki diş hekimlerinin kök kanal tedavili dişlerde üst restorasyon tercihlerini araştırmaktır. Mevcut çalışmada, veri toplamak için olus?turulan anket 30 soru içermektedir. Anketin birinci bölümünde katılımcıların genel özelliklerine yönelik 7 demografik soru (yas?, cinsiyet, uzmanlık deneyimi, mezun oldug?u program, çalıs?tıg?ı kurum, bilimsel içerikli konge, seminer veya sunuma katılım), ikinci bölümünde ise çoktan seçmeli sorularla diş hekimleri tarafından endodontik tedavili dişlerin üst restorasyon tipi, zamanlaması, tercih edilen materyal ve tedavi protokolünün belirlenmesi amacıyla 15 soru, çeşitli kavite çizimleri aracılığıyla restorasyon tercihlerinin sorgulandığı 8 soruya yer verilmiştir. Anketi yanıtlayan 311 katılımcının büyük çoğunluğu üst restorasyonu kendilerinin yaptığını ve endodontik tedaviden sonra hemen tamamlamayı tercih ettiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcı hekimler, en sık kor materyali olarak kompozit rezin, en sık post materyali olarak fiber post kullandıklarını ve adeziv rezin siman ile yapıştırdıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcıların çok büyük bir kısmı ferrule etkinin endodontik tedavili dişlerde kırılma direncini arttırdığını düşündüklerini bildirdi (p<0,5). Katılımcıların rubber dam kullanım oranı oldukça düs?ük bulunmus?; kullandıklarında en sık alt molar diş grubunda tercih ettiklerini belirtmişlerdir (p<0,5). Katılımcıların çok büyük bir kısmı endodontik tedavi sırasında büyütme cihazlarından yardım almadığını belirtirken, lup kullanımının dental operasyon mikroskobu ve endoskopa göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,5). Mevcut çalışmanın sonucunda katılımcı hekimlerin endodontik tedavi sonrasında üst restorasyonun hemen yapılması noktasında farkındalığı olduğu tespit edildi. Bununla birlikte adeziv uygulamaların tercihinin gittikçe arttığı belirlendi. Bu çalışmanın limitasyonları dahilinde hekimlerin endodontik tedavili dişlerde üst restorasyon tercihlerinin deg?erlendirilmesinde, eksik yönlerin olduğu tespit edildi. Bu nedenle endodontik tedavili dişlerde üst restorasyonları konu alan kurs ve eg?itimlerin bu eksikliğin giderilmesi adına gerekli olduğu düşünülmektedir.

It is a proven fact that the upper restoration of endodontic treated teeth can affect the outcome of endodontic treatment. The purpose of this study, treatment of root canal dentist in Turkey to investigate the top choice in dental restorations. In the current study, the questionnaire created to collect data includes 30 questions. In the first part of the questionnaire, 7 demographic questions about the general characteristics of the participants (age, gender, specialty experience, graduation program, institution, scientific congress, seminar or presentation participation), in the second part, multiple choice questions were asked by dentists to determine the type of upper restoration of endodontically treated teeth. In order to determine the timing, preferred material and treatment protocol, 15 questions and 8 questions questioning restoration preferences through various cavity drawings were included. The majority of the 311 participants who answered the questionnaire stated that they did the upper restoration themselves and preferred to complete it immediately after endodontic treatment. Participating physicians stated that they mostly used composite resin as the post material and fiber post as the post material most frequently and adhered with adhesive resin cement. Most of the participants reported that the ferrule effect increased fracture resistance in endodontically treated teeth (p <0.5). Participants' rate of using rubber dam was found to be quite low; stated that they preferred it most frequently in the lower molar tooth group when they used it (p <0.5). While a great majority of the participants stated that they did not get help from magnifying devices during endodontic treatment, it was determined that the use of loop was higher than dental operation microscope and endoscope (p <0.5). As a result of the present study, it was determined that the participating physicians were aware of the immediate upper restoration after endodontic treatment. However, it was determined that the preference of adhesive applications is increasing. Within the limitations of this study, it was found that there were deficiencies in the evaluation of the upper restoration preferences of physicians for endodontically treated teeth. For this reason, it is thought that courses and trainings on upper restorations in endodontically treated teeth are necessary in order to eliminate this deficiency.
