Özet
Bu çalışmada, ortaöğretim okullarında çalışan öğretmenlerin moral düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Betimsel bir nitelik taşıyan bu araştırmada veriler, anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Araştırma evrenini, 2004-2005 öğretim yılında, Bolu ili merkezinde bulunan 15 ortaöğretim okulunda en az bir yıldır görev yapmakta olan 526 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise olasılığa dayalı örnekleme yöntemlerinden “basit tesadüfî örnekleme yöntemi” ile seçilen 282 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin “maaş doyumu”, “eğitim öğretim programına ilişkin sorunlar” ve “toplumdan görülen destek” moral alt boyutlarına ait moral düzeyleri “Genellikle Düşük”, diğer moral alt boyutlarına ait moral düzeyleri ise “Genellikle Yüksek” bulunmuştur.
In this study, it is aimed to determine the moral level of secondary education school teachers, to reveal whether these levels indicate differences as regards to the personal variables of teachers. The research population is consisted of 526 secondary school teachers who work at schools located in the city centre of Bolu, and who were working during 2004-2005 academic year having at least one year experience in teaching in 2004-2005 semester. During the study the qualitative data were collected through a questionnaire. Teacher (n=282) who were selected randomly by “simple coincidental sampling method” formed the sample of this study by using the probability based method. The results of this study indicated that the sub-moral levels of teachers such as “the salary satisfaction of the teacher”, “problems related to the education program”, “the support that the teacher gets from the society” are “Generally Low” and the other sub-moral levels are “Generally High”.
