dc.description.abstractİslâm akılcılığının temsilcisi olarak kabul edinilen Mu'tezile mezhebine benzer şekilde, Mâverâünnehir coğrafyasında gelişen Mâtürîdîlik de îtikâdî esaslarının, aklî ilkelerle desteklenen bir tanrı, varlık ve bilgi anlayışı üzerine inşâ edilmesi gerektiğini savunur. Bu bakımdan her iki ekol de dinî metinlerde ifadesini bulan teolojik tasvîr ve anlatımların aklî doğrulamasına büyük önem vermiştir. Yine akla uygun düşmeyen ifadelerin te'vîl edilmesi noktasında da söz konusu kelâmcılar arasında görüş birliği sağlanmıştır. Ancak rü'yetullah meselesini bu metodolojik ittifâkın önemli bir istisnâsı olarak değerlendirmek mümkündür. Nitekim Mu'tezile rü'yetullâhın aklen imkânsızlığı fikrine vurgu yaparken, Mâtürîdiyye ise sünnî rü'yet anlayışının aklî zemine uyarlanması görevini üstlenmiş görünür. Bu çalışmada sonuçları büyük ölçüde bilinmekte olan rü'yetullah tartışması, süreç açısından yeniden ele alınmaktadır. Böylece tarafların bu meselede kullandığı delillerden hareketle onların kelâm yöntemleri hakkında daha genel bir kanaate varmak mümkün olacaktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractSimilar to the Mu'tazila which is considered as representative of the Islamic rationalism, the Maturidite that developed in the geography of Transoxania, defends that the creeds must be constructed on a theological, ontological and epistemological understanding supported by rational principles. In this regard, both of the schools have attached great importance to the rational verification of the theological depictions and narratives expressed in the religious texts. Likewise, a consensus has been provided among these theologians at the point of " ta'wil" which means that the statements in conflict with the reason must be interpreted. However, the issue of ru'yatullah (visibility of God) can be regarded as a notable exception to this methodological alliance. In fact, while Mu'tazila emphasize the impossibility of the ru'yatullah by reason, Maturidiyya seems to have undertaken the task of rationalization of the sunni ru'yatullah conception. In this study, the ru'yatullah debate which is widely known in terms of the results, has been reconsidered in terms of the process. Thus, it will be possible to have a more general opinion about the kalam methods of the schools based on evidences used by them.en_US
