dc.description.abstractEdebiyat eğitimi, estetik beğeni düzeyinin oluşmasında ve ana dilini bir üst dil olarak kullanabilme becerisinin gelişmesinde önemli işlevlere sahiptir. Özellikle orta öğretim düzeyinde bir üst dil olarak edebiyat ile karşılaşan birey, bu dönemde edebiyat eğitimini bir sanat eğitimi süreci olarak görmelidir. Ayrıca öğrenciler, kompozisyon alanında da, belli bir yetkinliğe ulaşmış, kendilerini ifade edebilme becerisini kazanmış olmalıdırlar. Ancak okullarımızda beklenilen düzeyde bir edebiyat duyarlığı ve kompozisyon becerisinin kazandırılamadığını; öğretmen, eğitim programları, öğrenci (ilgi, ön yargı, hazır bulunuşluk) gibi etkenlere bağlı birçok sorunun da bunu tetiklediğini düşünmekteyiz. Ayrıca Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı dersinin verildiği yıllar ile üniversiteye hazırlık sürecinin örtüşmesi, bununla birlikte Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı ile eğitim programının uyuşmaması, tek hedefi üniversiteye girmek olan öğrencilerde dersin faydasızlığı yönünde kanaatlere yol açmaktadır. Buradan yola çıkarak ve bunun gibi sorunlara eğilmek üzere bu araştırma, Mart 2002 tarihinde Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi öğrencileri ve Van-Merkez liselerinde çalışan edebiyat öğretmenleri ile yapılan görüşmeler ışığında, sorunların tespiti ve çözümü amacıyla yapılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractLiterature education has important functions in the formation of an aesthetic taste and in developing skills for using the native language as an elevated language. Particularly, an individual who comes across with literature as the elevated language at the level of secondary education should percieve the literature education as the process of art education in this period. Moreover, students should reach a certain competence level in the field of composition and gain the skill of expressing themselves. However, it is believed that literature sensitivity and composition skills are not gained at the school as expected; and many problems dependent upon the factors such as teacher, curriculum, student (interest, prejudice, prerequisite) have effects on this. In addition to this, the fact that the years in which Turkish Language and Literature courses are given and the preparation for the university entrance exam overlaps; besides, that the University Entrance Exam and curriculum are not allied led to some thoughts as the literature course is not useful for the students whose only aim is to enter a university. From this point of view and in order to think about such kinds of problems, this study was conducted for the determination and the solution for the problems with Yüzüncü Yıl University students and the literature teachers working at the high school in Van in March 2002.
