Özet
Küreselleşmenin getirdiği dinamik ve yoğun rekabet ortamında firmaların sürdürülebilirliğini sağlaması için rekabet stratejilerini, kullanacağı stratejik araçlarını net olarak belirlemesi kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Bu çalışma, Batı Marmara Bölgesi'nde faaliyet gösteren üretim işletmelerindeki 352 yöneticiden elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesine odaklanmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, rekabet stratejileri, ileri imalat teknolojileri ve firma performansı arasındaki etkileşimi incelemektir. Sonuçta, rekabet stratejileri ve ileri imalat teknolojilerinin firma performansı üzerinde; rekabet stratejilerinin ileri imalat teknolojileri üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif etkileri tespit edilmiştir. Alt değişkenlerin de analiz edildiği çalışmada, yenilik stratejisinin ileri imalat teknolojileri üzerinde; maliyet liderliğiyle destekli hizmet farklılaştırma stratejisi, yenilik stratejisi ve ileri imalat teknolojilerinin firma performansı üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü etkileri gözlenmiştir.
In the dynamic and intense competition environment brought by globalization, it is inevitable for firms to define their competitive strategies and strategic tools that they will use in order to maintain their sustainability. This study focused on evaluation of the data obtained from 352 managers of manufacturing firms that operate in Western Marmara Region. The purpose of this study is to examine the interaction among competitive strategies, advanced manufacturing technologies and firm performance. During data analysis, factor, correlation and regression analysis are made by SPSS 18 software package. Positive and significant impact of competitive strategies and advanced manufacture technologies on firm performance is found as a result of the analysis. Furthermore, positive and significant impact of competitive strategies on advanced manufacture technologies is found. In this study, in which the sub-variables are also analyzed, positive and significant effect of advanced manufacturing technologies, service differentiation strategy assisted by cost leadership, and innovation strategy on firm performance was detected. Moreover, positive and significant effect of innovation strategy on advanced manufacturing strategies is found.
