Özet
Turizm, ülke ve bölge ekonomilerine önemli katkılar sağlayan sektörlerden biridir. Güvenlik olgusunun insan yaşamının sürekliliği içindeki yeri bilindiği için turistik hizmet sunumundan söz edilirken turistlerin güvende olduğunu bilme arzusu temel unsurlardan biri olarak kabul edilmektedir Bu araştırmanın amacı yerli ve yabancı turistlerin güvenliğe ilişkin tutumlarının incelenmesidir. Bununla birlikte turist tutumlarının Türkiye'de turizm faaliyetlerine dahil olurken edindikleri güvenlik algılarında ne düzeyde etkili olduğunu ölçülmüştür. Alan araştırması, Türkiye'de turizmin yoğun olarak yaşandığı illerden biri olan Muğla ilinde yapılmıştır. 22 soruluk bir anket yardımıyla tesadüfi örneklem yoluyla oluşturulan 412 kişilik örneklem grubu incelenerek; Muğla ilini ziyaret eden turistlerin yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu vb. demografik özellikleri ile güvenlik tutumları arasındaki ilişkiler ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, nicel araştırma modellerinden tekil tarama ve ilişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak düzenlenmiştir. Betimsel olarak, turistlerin demografik özellikleri ve güvenlik tutumlarına dair ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. ?lişkisel modele göre ise, güvenliğe ilişkin tutumları, destinasyon tercihleri ve seçilen demografik özellikler arasındaki ilişki ölçülmüştür. Çalışma neticesinde turistlerin güvenliğe verdikleri önemin yaş, cinsiyet, öğrenim gibi değişkenlere göre farklılaştığı; turistlerin güvenliğe ilişkin tutumlarında Muğla'ya tekrar gelme durumlarına göre bir farklılık olduğu, ancak bu farklılığın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı gözlenmiştir.
Tourism is one of sectors which provides significant contributions to economies of countries and regions. Wherefore position of security in the continuity of human life is known, desire of tourists for feeling safe is regarded as one of the main factors while considering about touristic service supplying. The purpose of this research is to examine the attitudes of domestic and foreign tourists about safety. Additionally, the attitude of tourists that are effective at what level of security perception while they experience tourism activities in turkey is measured. A field study was conducted in Mugla, one of the towns where tourism is experienced intensively in Turkey. A sampling group formed by 412 individuals were involved in a incidental sampling way, with the aid of a survey that contained 22 questions was examined and determined the relationship between demographic characteristics such as age, gender and educational level, safety attitudes and satisfaction of tourists visiting Mugla province. The study was arranged according to a single screening and relational screening model, among the quantitative research models. According to descriptive model were measured the demographic characteristics and safety attitudes. According to a relational model were measured the relationship between safety perceptions, destination preferences and demographic characteristics. At the end of the study was observed that the importance given to the safety of tourists differed according to working age, sex, education and such as variables; there was a difference in the consideration of tourists about revisiting Muğla according to their attitudes of the security, but the difference wasn't significant as statistically.
