dc.description.abstractİnsanoğlunu suç işlemeye iten pek çok etken vardır. Kriminoloji alanındaki çalışmalar arasında suçun nedeni olarak sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel etkenlere öncelik tanıyan görüşlerin günümüzde giderek ağırlık kazandığı görülmektedir. Tüm sosyal bilimlerin ilgi alanına giren suç, özelikle nedenleri ve sonuçları açısından ekonomik boyutu göz ardı edilemeyecek derecede önemli bir olgudur. Suç, günümüzde insanlığın ortak değerlerini sömürür ve tüketir düzeye ulaşırken, demokratik toplumların ilerlemesine büyük boyutta tehdit oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda suç işlemede ekonomik faktörlerin dolaylı ve dolaysız etkileri olduğu tartışılmaktadır. Özellikle işsizlik, yoksulluk, gelir dağılımında eşitsizlik, eğitim seviyesi, göç ile suç arasındaki ilişkinin tespiti önem taşımaktadır. Son yıllarda Türkiye’de de söz konusu göstergelerde ve özellikle ekonomik nitelikli suç türlerinde önemli derecede artışlar ve bölgeler arasında farklılaşmalar gözlenmektedir. Dolayısıyla, bu çalışmada özellikle işsizlik, yoksulluk, gelir dağılımında eşitsizlik, eğitim seviyesi ve göç etkenlerinin şahsa ve mala karşı işlenen suç türleri üzerinde Türkiye’de iller arasında önemli derecede farklılaşma yaratıp-yaratmadığı çoklu regresyon yöntemi ile incelenmektedir. Belirli bir grup sosyo-ekonomik değişkenin özellikle ekonomik niteliği ağır basan mala karşı işlenen suç türlerini açıklamakta diğer suç türlerine göre oldukça yüksek düzeyde çıktığı gözlenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThere exist multifarious causes of leading human beings to commit crime. It is witnessed that the thoughts emphasizing priority on socio-economic and cultural factors as causes of criminal commitments have nowadays been strongly supported by studies in criminology. Although crime is considered in all the social sciences, it is a fundamental phenomenon of economic discipline because its economic dimension can not be ignored in aspect of its economic reasons and results. Crime has nowadays reached an extent that consumes and exploits the common values of civilization, hence which has become a big threat to the advance of democratic communities. In this regard, to what extent economic factors have direct and indirect impacts on committing crime has been discussed yet. In particular, the relationship between unemployment, poverty, unequal income distribution, education level, immigration and committing crimes has been an essential issue recently. It is observed that Turkey has experienced a surge in the regarded indicators and particularly in economic types of crimes and a rise in disparities of which across regions in recent years. Thus, whether the factors of especially unemployment, poverty, unequal income distribution, education level and immigration have resulted in a significant variation in various types of crimes against person and against property across the Turkey’s provinces are investigated via linear multiple regression method in this work. It is observed that particular group of socio-economic variables can explain higher rates of certain types of crimes notably against property relative to the others.en_US
