dc.description.abstractBu tanımlayıcı çalışmada Düzce Kızılay Kan Merkezinde donör ret oranının ve ret nedenlerinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla 2001 ve 2002 yıllarında reddedilen 274 kan donörünün kayıtları Düzce Tıp Fakültesi son sınıf öğrencileri tarafından değerlendirildi. DüzceKızılay Kan Merkezi'ne Ocak2001 den Aralık 2002'ye kadar kan bağışlamak için baş vuran 8354 donörden 274'ü ret edildi. Ret oram %3.05 'dir. Reddedilen donörlerin büyük çoğunluğu 20-29yaş grubunda ve donor ret nedenleri kan başmandaki değişiklikler (%51.2), şüpheli cinsel ilişki (%17), önerilen ilaçlan kullanmak (%9.8) ve enfeksiyon hastalıkları (%9.5) idi. Donör ret oranı literatürdeki diğer çalışmalardan düşük fakat ret nedeni olarak şüpheli cinsel ilişki diğer çalışmalara oranla yüksek idi.en_US
dc.description.abstractTo determine donor refusal rate and the causes of refusals at Duzce Red Crescent Blood Center, records of 274 blood donors who were refused in the years of2001 and 2002 were evaluated by the last term students of Duzce Medical School in this descriptive study. Of 8354 donors applied to donate blood to Duzce Red Crescent Blood Center from January 2001 to December 2002, 274 donors were refused. The refusal rate was 3,048%. Of refused donors the most was at the age group'of 20-29 and the causes of donor refusal were alteration at blood pressure (51.2%), suspicious sexual relation (17.0%), using prescribed medicine (9.8%), and infectious diseases (9.5%). Donor refusal rate was found lower than other studies but suspicious sexual relation was found higher than other studies as a cause of donor refusal.en_US
