Brucellosis is an endemic disease in Turkey. Osteoartricular complications are common, but epidural abscess is a rare complication in brucellosis. In this paper, a 51-year-old female who had brucellar epidural abscess mimicking disc hernia with clinical signs and formerly had received physiotherapy for three years is presented. The diagnosis was made by compatible history, positive serology and radiological signs. The patient healed without sequela with medical treatment. Brucellosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of cases with back pain and no acute infection symptoms.
