Özet
Pleural effusion is a rare complication of atypical hepatitis A virus infection. It was proposed that immune complexes or local inflammation within the liver might be the cause of pleural effusion. In this case report, an 8 year-old girl with hepatitis A virus infection and unilateral pleural effusion was presented and the pathogenesis of this relation was discussed.
