dc.description.abstractÖZET GENÇLİK VE SPOR GENEL MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ İL MÜDÜRLERİNİN VERİMLİLİKLERİNİ ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLERİN ANALİZİ Eskicioğlu, Yeşer Yüksek Lisans, Spor Yöneticiliği Anabilinı Dalı Tez Danışmanı : Yrd. Doç. Dr. Nevzat MİRZEOĞLU Aralık -2003, 119 Sayfa Bu çalışmanın amacı, spor örgütleri olarak nitelendirilen. Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlüğünde çalışan îl Müdürlerinin verimliliklerini etkileyen faktörler hakkında İl Müdürlerinin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yolu ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi ve ölçüt örnekleme çeşitleri kullanılmıştır. Veriler betimsel ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yöneticilerin verimliliğini etkileyen faktörler yönetsel yaklaşım ve yönetim şekli, teknoloji, motivasyon, iletişim, kendini geliştirme ve örgüt konumu şeklinde altı ana başlık altında yöneticilere sorulmuş, alınan cevaplar doğrultusunda bu altı ana başlığın alt boyutları ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bunlar; 1. Yönetsel yaklaşım ve yönetim şekli alt başlığına ilişkin: yönetim tarzı-amaç birliği-eşit ve adaletli yönetim-hiyerarşik kanallı yönetim-eğitimsel aktiviteler; III2. Teknoloji alt başlığına ilişkin: malzeme yeteıiiliği-yüneümde kullanılan teknoloji; 3.Motivasyon alt başlığına ilişkin: ödüllendirme-ceza-ücret- düşüncelerini söyleyebilme-kişisel gereksinimler-uygun işe uygun eleman alımı- eleman alımında söz sahibi olma-sosyal aktiviteler düzenleme; 4. İletişim alt başlığına ilişkin: çalışanlar ile bilgi alış verişi yapabilme- üstlerle konuşabilme- bölümler arası bilgi alış verişinin olması; 5. Kendini geliştirme alt başlığına ilişkin: eğitim seminerleri düzenlenmesi-görevde yükselme olanaklarının bulunması; 6. Örgüt konumu alt başlığına ilişkin: örgütün bölge imajı-örgütün hükümet politikasındaki yeri-örgütün diğer örgütlerle ilişkisi, şeklinde ifade edilmiştir. dc.description.abstractABSTRACT THE ANALYSIS OF THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF CITY ADMINISTRATORS OF THE YOUTH AND SPORT GENERAL MANAGEMENT Eskicioğlu, Yeşer Graduate, Department of Sport Management Thesis Advisor : Prof. Asist. Dr. Nevzat MIRZEOGLU December, 2003, 119 Pages The purpose of this study is to indicate the impressions of the city Admini-strators about the factors affecting the productivity of the city administrators who are working in the Youth and Sport managements called as a "organizations of sports". In this research, qualitative method was used. The data were provided from the half- setted interviews. In addition to this, easily - reachable situational examplifiation and quantity examplification types were used. The data were collected by using descriptive and content- based analysis methods. The factors affecting the productivity of the administrators were asked to the administrators under the titles of six main issues; administrative approach and management style, technology, motivation, communication, self-improvement and organizational positon. By the help of the answers receieved, the sub-dimensions of these main titles were determined as in the following : 1. Related to the sub-heading of administrativeapproach and management style: The unity of goals, manegemenl style, equal and fair management, hierarchic management and educational activities. 2. Related to the sub-heading of technology : inadequance of equipment, technology used in the management. 3. Related to the sub-heading of motivation : punishment and awarding, price, the ability to express the opinions, individual necessities, employing the right people for the right places, the ability to be elequent about management, organizing the social activities. 4. Related to the sub-heading ol' communication : The ability to work cooperatively, respecting the opinions about workers, the ability to talk to the experts, the ability to cooperate. 5. Related to the sub-heading of self-improvement : Educational seminars, the availability ol' the opportunities to be promoted. 6. Related to the sub-heading of organization : The position of the organization in the govermental policy, the relationships of the organization with the others. As a result of this research, it was concluded that these factors affected the productivity of Youth and Sport City administrators. Key words : Administrator, Sport manager, Productivity IIen_US
