dc.description.abstractAmaç: Kolorektal bölgenin hastalıkları, tanı amaçlı incelemeleri ve ameliyatları cerrahinin önemli konulanndandır. Bu işlemler sırasında uyarılan viseromotor reflekslerin etkileri araştırma konusudur. Bu çalışmada deneysel olarak oluşturulan ağrısız ve ağrılı kolorektal distansiyon modelinin mide boşalma hızına etkisi a-raştınlmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: 32 Adet Wistar-Albino sıçan eşit olarak dört gruba bölündü. Anal kenardan 4 cm yukarı ilerletilen 6 F bir foley kateterin balonu serum fizyolojik ile şişirilerek kolorektal distansiyon oluşturuldu. Eşit olarak bölünmüş gruplardan ağrısız (grup-3) ve ağrılı (grup-4) distansiyon uygulanan hayvanlar kontrol (grup-1) ve sham (grup-2) grubu ile karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Ağrısız distansiyon mide boşalma hızını yavaşlatmıştır (p>0.05). Ağrılı kolorektal distansiyon ise ağrısız distansiyona göre iki katdan fazla mide boşalma hızını azaltmıştır. Sonuç: Sonuçta kolorektal bölgedeki distansiyon mide boşalmasını azaltmaktadır. Ağn ise bu azalmayı daha da derinleştirmektedir. Bu bölgede görülen hastalıklar, yapılan cerrahi müdahaleler ve endoskopik girişimlerde bu bilginin göz önüne alınması özellikle gastroparetik hastalarda tedavide yarar sağlayacaktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjective: Diseases, diagnostic investigations and surgical interventions of the colorectal region are the important subjects of the surgery. The outcomes of visceromotor reflexes which are induced during these procedures are the matters of investigations. Current study was planned to investigate the effects of painless and painful colorectal distension on gastric emptying rate. Material and Methods: 24 Wistar-Albino rats were equally divided into four groups. Colonic distension was produced by inflating a 6 F Foley catheter balloon with serum physiologic that was introduced into the colon via the anus. Painless and painful colorectal distension gastric emptying rates were compared with the group-1 and 2 gastric emptying rate values. Results: Painless colorectal distension slowed down the gastric emptying rate (p>0.05). Painful colorectal distension caused approximately a twofold decrease gastric emptying rate of group-3 when compared to group-1 (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result colorectal distension decreased the gastric emtying rate. Pain has deepen this inhibition. To take into account this data may help the clinician in the treatment of functional colorectal disorders or when endoscopically diagnosing and surgically treating patients with colorectal pathology.en_US
