INTRAABDOMINAL DESMOPLASTIC SMALL ROUND CELL TUMOR MIMICKING RENAL CELL CANCER: A CASE REPORT AND REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

Özet
A 25 year-old woman admitted to our clinic due to left lomber pain, weakness and abdominal mass. On computerized tomography, 140x110x50 mm in diameter solid mass was detected in upper pole of the left kidney on computerized tomography (CT). The patient underwent left radical nephrectomy and histopathological examination of the specimen was reported as pyelonephritis. Six months after the operation, the patient admitted to our clinic with huge intraabdominal mass. It was defined as hematoma or abcess on CT. One thousand cc necrotic clot like material was evacuated in exploration. Histopathological examination of this material indicated desmoplastic small round cell tumor.
