| dc.description.abstract | Küreselleşme olgusunun en fazla etkilediği alanların başında eğitim gelmektedir. Günümüzde milyonlarca birey eğitim almak amacıyla kendi ülkesinin dışına çıkarak bu amacını gerçekleştirebilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda gerek bireylerin aileleri gerekse devletler vatandaşlarının daha iyi koşullarda eğitim alabilmesini desteklemekte bu sayede uluslararası öğrenci hareketliliği kolaylaşmaktadır. Çeşitli düzeylerde eğitim almak amacıyla yurtdışına çıkan bireyler gittikleri ülke ve şehirlere yaptıkları tüketim harcamaları ile önemli ekonomik katkılara neden olabilmektedirler. Bundan dolayı günümüzde çok sayıda ülke, şehir ve üniversite bu öğrencileri başta ekonomik nedenler olmak üzere sosyal, kültürel vb. nedenlerle kendine çekmeye çalışmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Kastamonu Üniversitesi’ne eğitim almak amacıyla gelen uluslararası öğrencilerin yaptıkları tüketim harcamalarının şehir ekonomisine katkısı ele alınmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda uluslararası öğrencilerin aylık ortalama harcama miktarının 1.364,54 TL olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Uluslararası öğrenciler en fazla harcamayı aylık 422,79 TL ile barınma için yapmaktadırlar. En yüksek ikinci harcamayı ise 154,63 TL ile gıda ve alkolsüz içeceklere yapmaktadırlar. İletişim ise uluslararası öğrencilerin 40,52 TL ile en az harcama yaptığı harcama türü olarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Kastamonu Üniversitesi’nde 2018-2019 akademik yılında eğitim öğretim gören 2579 uluslararası öğrencinin Kastamonu şehrine ortalama aylık toplam katkısı 3.367.525,48 TL olarak tespit edilirken uluslararası öğrencilerin yıllık katkısı ise 35.646.287,62 TL olarak hesaplanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Education is one of the most affected areas of globalization. Millions of individuals in this global world are able to achieve this goal by going outside their own country in order to receive education. In this direction, both the families of the individuals and the states support the citizens to get education in better conditions, thus facilitating international student mobility. Individuals who go abroad to receive education at various levels can make significant economic contributions with their consumption expenditures to the countries and cities they go to. Therefore, today, many countries, cities and universities, especially economic reasons, such as social, cultural and so on. reasons. In this study, the contribution of the consumption expenditures of international students to Kastamonu University to the city economy is discussed. As a result of the study, it was found that the average monthly expenditure of international students was 1.364.54 TL. International students spend the highest amount of accommodation for 422,79 TL per month. The second highest expenditure is on food and non-alcoholic beverages with TL 154.63. On the other hand, communication has been determined as the type of expenditure that international students spend the least with 40,52 TL. As a result of the research, the average monthly total contribution of 2579 international students studying at Kastamonu University in the 2018-2019 academic year was found to be 3.367.525,48 TL while the annual contribution of international students was calculated as 35.646.287.62 TL. | en_US |
