Özet
In this frame work, the aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness and the characteristics of practice teaching course instructors. The subjects of this study were the 4th year students (n=45) of School of Physical Education and Sport of AIBU who were taking teaching practice course. According to almost half of candidate Physi{dotless}cal Educati{dotless}on Teaching teachers the practice teaching course is mostly needed for their teaching experience, the time allocated for this course is sufficient, they are familiar with individual differences among their students and their experiences have positive effects on their perceptions related to their subject area courses (gymnastics, athletism, volleyball, etc.). When their perceptions in relation to the characteristics of practice teaching course instructors, the followings were highly observed: they should give understandable and clear feedback, dealing with them and having good knowledge on measurement and evaluation in terms of their guidance characteristics, they should easily be communicate with in terms of their personal characteristics, in terms of their professional characteristics, they should use course materials, and they should know how to theory in practice.
