Bone grafts are used in an increasing frequency in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery and plastic surgery to increase bone union and to fill bone defects and to obtain structural stiffness in bone deficiencies. The grafts used today are of human, animal and synthetic origin. In this review, we are presenting the bone grafts of human origin with an emphasis on their areas of usage. © 2011 Düzce Medical Journal.en_US
