Özet
The aim of the present study is to investigate the opinions of pedagogical formation students through their metaphors about ideal teacher, teaching profession, curriculum, responsibility, employment and Public Personnel Selection Examination (PPSE). The pedagogical formation students (n=19) participated in the pedagogical formation program in the spring semester of 2013-2014 academic year in one of the universities located in the north-west part of Turkey formed the study group of the present study. In order to collect the qualitative data, a semi - structured interview form prepared and developed by the researchers was used and the data were analyzed through content analysis technique. The findings of the study revealed that the metaphors they developed reflect their current psychological states, future lives, expectations and opinions. (C) 2015 The Authors.
