Muhammed b. Ebu Bekir'in hayatı ve siyasi faaliyetleri

İslam tarihi Hz. Muhammed'in peygamberliği ile başlamış ve onun kurduğu İslam devleti ile serüvenine devam etmiştir. Peygamberin vefatı sonrasında onun en yakınında bulunan dört önemli isim İslam devletinin idaresine geçmiştir. İslam devleti bu dört halife döneminde sosyal, coğrafi ve ekonomik anlamda gelişim göstermiştir. Söz konusu gelişim toplum içinde bazı sorunları da beraberinde getirmiştir ve bunlardan bazısının etkisi uzun süre devam etmiştir. İslam tarihi incelendiğinde Hz. Osman ve Hz. Ali döneminde yaşanan bazı olayların bu özellikte olduğu görülecektir. Çalışmada bu iki halife dönemi siyasi olaylarında aktif rol oynamış olan Muhammed b. Ebî Bekir ele alınmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde Muhammed'in nesebine hayatına yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Hz. Osman'a muhalefetiyle ilgili rivayetler ile bu rivayetlerin değerlendirilmesi bulunmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümü ise Hz. Ali'ye muhalefeti ve Muhammed b. Ebî Bekir'in valilik dönemi oluşturmaktadır.
