dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı; 2005-2006 öğretim yılında, Bolu İli merkezinde bulunan ilköğretim okullarında görevli öğretmenlerin; öğretmenlik mesleği kariyer basamaklarında yükselme uygulamasına ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler, Bolu ili merkez ilköğretim okullarında çalışan toplam 604 ilköğretim okulu öğretmeni içerisinden “basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi” ile belirlenen 223 öğretmenden toplanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket formuyla toplanan verilerin analizinde ankette bulunan her bir maddenin değerleri, yüzde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma, bağımsız örneklemler için t testi; bağımsız örneklemler için tek faktörlü varyans analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin önemli bir kısmı, öğretmenlik mesleği kariyer basamaklarında yükselme uygulamasının, öğretmenin saygınlık, tanınma ve başarılı olma bakımlarından sosyal statüsünü yükseltmesi, öğretme sürecindeki etkililiğini arttırma, iş doyumunu artırması, mesleki gelişimine imkan sağlaması, aidiyet duygusunun gelişmesini desteklemesi, yetenek ve becerilerini kullanma fırsatı sağlaması gibi konularda olumsuz düşünceye sahiptir. Yine öğretmenlerin büyük bir kısmı, uygulamanın düzenlenmesi sürecine ve olası sonuçlarına ilişkin olumsuz düşünceler ifade etmişlerdir. Kariyer basamaklarında yükselme uygulamasına ilişkin bazı maddeler ile ilgili öğretmen görüşleri, cinsiyet ve kariyer basamaklarında yükselme sınavına girme durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to identify the thoughts of teachers in primary schools in Bolu province about the implementation of rising in carrier steps in teaching profession in 2005 – 2006 academic years. The data used in this study collected from 223 teachers that identified by simple random sampling method among 604 teachers in primary schools in Bolu province. The datas were collected by the ressearchers were prepared by the researchers and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistic methods like percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation scorres of each item and independent samples t- test and the dependent samples is analyzed by one way anova. According to the results of the study, the majority of the teachers have negative thoughts about implementation of raising career steps in terms of rise in their social status regarding respect and achievement, rise in the efficiency of teaching in the scale process, support of the development of commitment, increase in the job satisfaction and use of their abilities and skills. The teachers’ opinions regarding some items about implementation of raising career steps showed significant differences according to their gender and as to whether or not they entered the exam for rise in career step.en_US
