dc.description.abstractGiriş: Bu çalışma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin eğitimden hemen ve üç ay sonra Temel Yaşam Desteğini uygu­layabilirliklerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Öğrenciler, maketler üzerinde uygulamalarını gerçekleştirirken hazırlanan Temel Ya­şam Desteği basamaklarına göre değerlendirilmişlerdir. Bulgular: Üç ay sonunda solunumu kontrol etme ve Temel Yaşam Desteğini uygun sonlandırma basamak­larının ilk uygulamaya göre daha fazla öğrenci tarafından gerçekleştirildiği belirlenmiştir. Öğrenciler nabzı kontrol etme, kalp masajı yapacakları bölgeyi belirleme ve suni solunum ile kalp masajı döngüsü basamak­larını diğer basamaklara göre daha büyük oranda gerçekleştirmişlerdir. İlk uygulamada öğrencilerin yarısı tüm basamakları başarılı bir şekilde gerçekleştirirken, 3 ay sonra öğrencilerin sadece %7.5'inin basamakla­rın tamamını doğru olarak gerçekleştirdiği belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Çalışmada öğrencilerin ilk ve üç ay sonundaki değerlendirilmelerinde bebek, çocuk ve yetişkinde Temel Yaşam Desteğinden aldıkları puanlar karşılaştırılmış ve üç ay sonunda öğrencilerin başarı durumları­nın anlamlı şekilde azaldığı görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: This study was carried out to evaluate the fulfillment of Basic Life Support of nursing students after training and three months later. Material and Method: Students were evaluated to the prepared Basic Life Support steps while they were fulfilling their applications on models. Results: After a three-month training, it was determined that more students fulfilled the steps for controlling respiration and finishing the Basic Life Support appropriately. The students fulfilled the steps of controlling pulse, determining the place to apply heart massage, applying artificial respiration and heart massage circulation better than the other steps. While in the first application only few more than the half of the students could fulfill all the steps successfully, three months later, only 7,5% of the students could fulfill all the steps successfully. Conclusion: In this study, during the evaluation of the students in the first and at the end of the third month, the points they got from Basic Life Support in babies, children and adults were compared and at the end of the three months, it was seen that the success of the students decreased considerably.en_US
