Öğe Analysis of the relation of teachers' organizational identification and organizational communication(2013) Yildiz, KayaIn this study the relationship between the organizational identification and organizational communication of primary school teachers is examined through path analysis. The study group in the study is formed by (n=362) primary school teachers working at primary schools located in the center of Bolu in the 2011-2012 academic year. In the study, data were collected through "Organizational Identification Inventory" and "Organizational Communication Inventory". In the analysis of the data in order to identify teachers' organizational identification and organizational communication levels, the percentage, the frequency values, the mean, and standard deviation scores were calculated. Meanwhile, the relationship between organizational identification and organizational communication levels were examined through path analysis. In the study, the mean score about primary school teachers' organizational identification level is (x=3,89, S=,67). In the study, it was found that the highest mean score about primary school teachers' organizational communication level is at the "Mission Essential Communications" sub-dimension x=3,89 (S=,67) while the lowest mean score is at the "Feedback" sub-dimension x=3,49 (S=,80). In the study, the results of path analysis done to identify the relationship between organizational identification and organizational communication levels of teachers revealed that the model is consistent as GFI: 0,99, AGFI: 0,96 and CFI: 1,00. © 2013 Educational Consultancy and Research Center.Öğe Perceptions of student faculty of education in relation to the factors influenced on the selection of the university(2007) Cerit, Yusuf; Yildiz, Kaya; Akgün, NuriThe main purpouse of this study is to identify the perceptions of students faculty of education in relation to the factors influenced on selection of university. The subject (n: 947) of this study were the students Faculty of Education of Abant Izzet Baysal University during 2005-2006 academic year. For this study, the data were collected through a questionnaire and for the analysis of the data, the mean and standard deviation scores were calculated and t-test and one-way anova were used. The results of this study indicated that for the selection of the school, according to the grade level and department variable, the university should be higly familiar with the students' interests, no meaningful difference was found between the students' perceptions and the family income level and the educational level of parents, however; meaningful differences were found between the students' perceptions and the grade level and the department of students.Öğe The Relationship Between School Principals’ Paternalistic Leadership Behavior and the Level of Classroom Teachers’ Organizational Ostracism(2019) Akgün, Nuri; Özdemir, Tuncay; Yildiz, Kaya; Cerit, Yusuf; Yilmaz, ÖmerThe purpose of the present study was to explore the relationship between paternalistic leadership and the level of classroom teachers’ ostracism. The participants for this study consisted of 101 classroom teachers at primary schools located in Bartın. Data in this study were collected by using paternalistic leadership scale developed by Aycan, Schyns, Sun, Felfe & Saher, and the level of classroom teachers’ ostracism were assessed with using the the Workplace Ostracism Scale developed by Ferris et al. and was adapted in Turkish Language by Çelik ve Koşar. Mean, standard deviation, correlation and regression test were used in analysis of data. The correlation analysis shows that paternalistic leadership has significantly negatively correlation with the level of teachers’ ostracism. The results of regression analysis indicated that paternalistic leadership was a significant predictor for teachers’ ostracism.Öğe Sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine bağlılık algıları ile öğretim programına bağlılık algıları arasındaki ilişki(2022) Polat, Çidem Maral; Yildiz, Kaya; Yildiz, SevilayBu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine bağlılık algıları ile öğretim programına bağlılık algıları arasındaki ilişkinin saptanmasıdır. Araştırmada ilişkisel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2020-2021 Eğitim Öğretim yılında Bolu ili merkez ilçesinin resmi ilkokullarında görev yapan 420 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya 32 farklı ilkokuldan toplamda 318 sınıf öğretmeni katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu, “Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Bağlılık Ölçeği” ile “Öğretim Programına Bağlılık Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizleri SPSS 20.0 paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ortalama, yüzde, standart sapma, frekans, korelasyon gibi betimsel istatistikler kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin güvenirlik analizleri için Cronbach Alpha katsayıları hesaplanmış, geçerlik kanıtları elde etmek için de Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine bağlılık algıları “yüksek”, öğretim programına bağlılık algıları ise “çok yüksek” düzeydedir. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine bağlılık ile öğretim programına bağlılık algıları arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
