Material and Methods: Fourty seven individuals included to the study who has worked in emergency department of Bolu Izzet baysal state hospital between 6th-15th of August in 2009. Results: Most of the study group were consisted of nurses. (%34). 68% of participants think that employers are out of number, %53,2 of them think that they work more than weekly working time, and 72,3% of them stated that human resources are efficiently used in the hospital. 59,6% of the workers said that they have not been rewarded by the hospital administration. 89.4% of them stated that they have not been physically assaulted in last six months and 85.1% complaint of inadequate safety measures in working place. Conclusion: It would be useful making surveys among emergency department staff at regular intervals to make early interventions.
