The prevalence of the lesion ranges from 0.012% to 1.3% and accounts for 0.17% of all jaw cysts on average. Although it is clinically seen as a slowly growing asymptomatic swelling, there are cases leading to symptoms. Radiographically, it is seen in the form of unilocular or multilocular, well-defined, radiolucent lesion frequently crossing the midline. Its histological characteristic is that the squamous epithelium, lining the cyst, shows duct-like small spaces partly surrounded by mucinproducing cells. The treatment varies from simple surgical enucleation to aggressive resection. Therecurrence rate is high.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessOdontogenic CystGlandular odontogenic cystLetter10.29271/jcpsp.2020.01.104301104105319319462-s2.0-85077786146Q3WOS:000507507200026Q4
