The materials studied were randomly selected from pure beech stands, naturally grown in Andirm-Kahramanmaraş, and these were prepared and tested according to Turkish Standards. The results showed that the mean compression strength was 60.6 N/mm2, the mean static bending strength was 120.4 N/mm 2, the mean impact-bending strength was 0.085 Nm/mm2 and the mean shear strength was 9.9 N/mm2. The relations of strengths with density were determined using regression analysis, and were compared with other values available in literature. As a result of this comparison, it was shown that Andirin beech wood has similar mechanical properties to the other beech woods.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCompression StrengthEastern BeechImpact Bending StrengthShear StrengthStatic Bending StrengthSome mechanical properties of eastern beech woodConference Object1642232292-s2.0-1542304385N/A
