In June 2019, several bean plants in three felds in Bishkek displayed wilting and chlorosis of the leaves, with up to 10% incidence. Stem and root sections of symptomatic plants exhibited the presence of necrotic tissues and dark microsclerotia. Symptomatic tissue segments were surface disinfected with 1% NaOCl solution for 3 min, rinsed twice with sterile distilled water, and plated on potato dextrose agar (PDA).eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessPhaseolus VulgarisMacrophomina PhaseolinaITS RegionFirst report of charcoal rot caused by Macrophomina phaseolina on common bean in KyrgyzstanOther10.1007/s42161-021-00841-11033102510262-s2.0-85105775454N/AWOS:000649233300001Q2
