dc.description.abstractOrtaokul 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilimsel süreç becerilerine ve fene karşı tutumlarına Fen- Teknoloji-Mühendislik ve Matematik (FeTeMM) etkinliklerinin etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada, nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından tek gruplu ön test –son test deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. 2014 yaz döneminde 20 öğrenciyle yürütülen araştırmada veriler Bilimsel Süreç Becerileri Testi ve Bilim ve Fen Hakkında Gerçekten Ne Düşünüyorum? ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Nicel veriler istatiksel olarak ilişkili örneklem t-testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulardan FeTeMM etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin bilimsel süreç becerilerini ve fene karşı tutumlarını pozitif yönde geliştirdikleri tespit edilmiştir. dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Using a pre- and post-test experimental design, this study investigated the impacts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) based activities on 5th graders scientific process skills and their attitudes towards science. The data were collected in the summer of 2014 by using Scientific Process Skills test and “What do I really think about science survey”. A paired sample t-test via statistical software was used for the data analysis. The findings showed that STEM based activities positively impacted participant students’ scientific process skills as well as their attitudes towards science.en_US
