Özet

The aim of this work is to identify the variation in CO2 sequestration by eucalyptus trees in Chile and to show an approach methodology to calculate the CO2 production of an industry based on its use of fossil combustible. It is necessary to correlate the on-site measured values through the growing vegetables as function of solar radiation, then estimating the monthly CO2 mass absorbed from the environment. C losses via respiration were not considered in this study; they should be included in a more exact analysis. The methodology given in our previous work for tobacco plants is used. With this data, it is possible to calculate a CO2 mass balance approach in the industry, knowing the annual amount of CO2 emitted, and comparing it with the one absorbed by the vegetable. A methodology to calculate the produced CO2 as function of the used fossil combustible in the industrial process is shown.
