Özet
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are among the most common infectious diseases today. STDs affect men and women of all ages, backgrounds and economic levels and they are most common in people younger than 25 years of age. STDs have become more common, partly because young people are becoming sexually active at a younger age and are having multiple partners. Frequently, STDs cause no symptoms. People can pass STDs to sexual partners even if they themselves do not have any symptoms. So, sufficient treatment and prevention of disease distribution depend on early diagnosis. Although urethritis is the most encountered clinical form in males, it can be presented in different forms. Basic properties of genital discharges in males are summarized in this presentation.
