Özet
Çalışmada, ceviz tohumları Aydın ili Köşk ilçesinde tohumdan yetişmiş ağaçlardan alınmış ve 36 adet ceviz meyvesinde meyve özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Ceviz tohumları talaş içinde katlamaya alınmış ve katlama sonrasında 110 adet ceviz tohumu köklendirme masalarına ekilerek, çimlendirilmeye alınmıştır. Çimlendirme sonucunda köklendirme masalarından çıkartılan çöğürlerin boyu, gövde çapı, kazık kök uzunluğu ve saçak kök uzunluğu, köklenme durumları belirlenmiştir. Çöğür boyları ortalama 12.31 cm, çöğür gövde çapı 4.21 mm, saçak kök uzunluğu 25.20 cm, kazık kök uzunluğu 12.11 cm olarak belirlenmiştir. Çöğürlerin %51.82’sinin köklenme durumunun az, %22.73’ünün orta ve %25.45’inin ise çok köklendikleri tespit edilmiştir. Batman şartlarında Şubat ayında katlamaya alınan, Nisan ayında çimlenmiş tohumların tavalara ekimi ile gelişmeye başlayan ceviz çöğürlerinin yaklaşık 12 ay sonra aşılamaya uygun anaç büyüklüğüne ulaştığı tespit edilmiştir.
In the study, walnut seeds were taken from seed grown trees in Köşk district of Aydın province and fruit properties were determined in 36 walnut fruit. Walnut seeds were stratification in sawdust and 110 walnut seeds were planted on rooting tables and then germinated. As a result of germination, seeds of removed from rooting tables were determined seed length, seed stem diameter, taproot and hairy root length and rooting states. İt was determined as seeding length 12.31 cm, seedling stem diameter 4.21, hairy root length 25.20 cm, taproot length 12.11 cm. It was determined that 51.82% of the seedlings had low rooting status, 22.73% had medium rooting and 25.45% had very rooting. It was determined that walnut seeds, which were strafication in February under Batman conditions and started to grow by planting germinated seeds in row in April, reached the rootstock size suitable for grafting after 12 months.
