Dünya ile Bütünleşmede Evrensel Kimlik Sorunu

Dünya ile bütünleşme sürecinde kimlik sorunu toplumun temel kaygılarının başında gelmektedir. Dünya ile bütünleşmede bir yandan ulusal kültürü korumak, öte yanda evrensel anlamda kimlik geliştirmek önemli bir etken sayılmaktadır. Globalleşme sağlam ölçütlerle ulusallaşan kültürlerde fazla etkili olacağı beklenemez. Bu bağlamda yurttaş olma bilinci ön koşul niteliğindedir. Türk insanı en azından yerellikten ulusallığa geçiş sürecini yaşar. Dünyada Türk olarak algılanmak için dünyanın Türk’leri ve Türk’ü tanımaları gerekir. Yoksa eriyip yok olmak kaçınılmaz olur. Sonuçta ne ulusal kimlik oluşur, ne de dünya ile bütünleşmek gerçekleşir.

Identity problem is regarded as one of the most important worries of societies in the process of integration with the world. During this process, to keep the national culture on the one hand and to develop identities in the universal sense on the other hand are considered as important factors. It is not expected that globalization will be more influential in national cultures when the criteria are strong. In this context awareness of being a citizen is a prerequisite. Turkish people, at least, live the transition from localization to nationalization. In order to be perceived as Turkish in the world, the world should know Turk and Turkish people other wise Turkish people will be nonewistent. As a result, neither national identity nor integration with the world will occur.
