İç Anadolu'nun Karaman ilinden tespit edilen Gagea goekyigitii Eker & Tekşen yeni tür olarak tanımlanmıştır. Gagea Salisb. (Sarıyıldız) cinsinin Didymobulbos seksiyonu üyesi olan türün betimi, coğrafik dağılımı, habitat özellikleri ve yakın türler ile taksonomik ilişkileri verilmiştir
