dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, zihin engelli bireylere saat söyleme becerisinin öğretiminde eşzamanlı ipucuyla öğretimin etkililiğini belirlemektir. Araştırmada zihin engelli beş öğrenci yer almıştır. Öğrencilerden biri ile pilot çalışma yapılmış ve bir öğrenci de denek yitimi olabileceği göz önünde tutularak yedek denek olarak araştırmaya katılmıştır. Araştırma üç denek ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneklere öğretilmesi için üç beceri belirlenmiştir. Eşzamanlı ipucuyla öğretim kullanılarak; tam buçuk ve çeyrek geçe saatleri söyleme becerisi öğretilmiştir. Tüm öğretim oturumları birebir öğretim düzenlemesi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada tek denekli araştırma modellerinden yoklama evreli davranışlar arası çoklu yoklama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkeni, deneklerin kendilerine gösterilen saatin kaçı gösterdiğini en az %80 düzeyinde doğru olarak söylemesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın bağımsız değişkeni, eşzamanlı ipucuyla öğretimdir. Uygulama süreci, araştırmacı tarafından; yoklama, öğretim, genelleme ve izleme oturumları olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, zihin engelli bireylere saat söyleme becerisin öğretiminde eşzamanlı ipucuyla öğretimin etkili olduğu söylenebilir. Ayrıca araştırma bulgularına göre, deneklerin kalıcılık ve genellemeyi yüksek düzeyde sağladıkları görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present study is to identify the effectiveness of simultaneous prompting on teaching the skill of telling the time to individuals with mental retardation. Five mentally retarded students participated in the study. A pilot study was carried out with one of the students and an extra subject included as a substitution. The study was conducted with three subjects. Three skills were determined to be taught to the children. By means of simultaneous prompting the skill of telling hours, half hours and quarter hours was taught. One-to-one instruction was carried out in all teaching sessions. In the study, a multiple probe design across behaviors belongs to single subject research. The dependent variable of the study is defined as subjects’ telling the time presented to them correctly with the rate of %80. The independent variable of the study is simultaneous prompting. Application process was defined by the researcher as probe, instruction, generalization, and maintenance sessions. At the end of the study, it may be argued that simultaneous prompting is effective to teach the skill of telling the time to individuals with mental retardation. In addition, according to the findings of the research, it is seen that the subjects achieved maintenance and generalization at a high level.en_US
