Temperature dependence of the mode Grüneisen parameter in the vicinity of the ?-transition point in NH4Cl

dc.description.abstractThis study gives our relations between the specific heat Cp and the Raman frequency shifts (1/?)(??/?T)p for the lattice modes of ?5 (144 cm-1) and ?5 (174 cm-1), when the mode Grüneisen parameter ?p depends on the temperature near the ?-transition in NH4Cl (T? = 242.5 K, P = 0). From our linear relations between Cp and (1/?)(??/?T)p, we deduce the values of the slope (dP/dT)? for both lattice modes in this crystal. Our (dP/dT)? values remain almost the same as those which we calculate when ?p is taken as a constant close to the ?-transition in NH4Cl. Our calculated values for (dP/dT)? are reasonable in compared to the experimental values.en_US
