dc.description.abstractAraştırmanın amacı; İzmir ilinde görevli biyoloji öğretmenlerinin 2008-2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında uygulanmaya başlayan biyoloji öğretim programının uygulanabilirliği hakkındaki görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Araştırmanın evrenini; İzmir ilindeki ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan biyoloji öğretmenleri; örneklemini İzmir il merkezinde 5 farklı okul türünden rastgele örneklemeyle seçilen 5‘er biyoloji öğretmeninden oluşan toplam 25 biyoloji öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma nitel bir çalışmadır ve veriler görüşme yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında yapılandırmacılık, sarmallık, alternatif ölçme değerlendirme teknikleri, kazanımlar ve ders süresinin etkinlikleri uygulamak için yeterliliği hakkındaki görüşlerini sorgulayan bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Uzmanlarla oluşturulan görüşme formunun güvenirlik ve geçerlilik analiz sonuçlarının uygun olduğu görülmüştür. Görüşlerin değerlendirilmesinde içerik analizi yapılmış, sonuçlar sınıflandırılarak f ve % değerlerine göre tablolaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; hizmet içi eğitimlerin etkin olarak yapılması; konuların senelere göre dağılımının tekrar düzenlenmesi; kılavuz kitaplarının hazırlanması gerekliliği görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the opinions of biology teachers regarding the practical applicability of the biology curriculum which took effect in the 2008-2009 academic year. The population of study is formed by biology teachers who teach at secondary schools in İzmir. The sample of study consists of 25 biology teachers, 5 biology teachers from each of the 5 different schools in the city of İzmir, who were selected through random sampling. Research is a qualitative study and the data was collected through interviews. For data collection, an interview form was used, questioning teachers' views about constructivism, spiral structure, alternative evaluation techniques, outcomes, and the adequacy of teaching time to implement activities. The interview form was created by getting expert opinions and it was tested for reliability and validity. Content analysis was done in the evaluation of the findings, and the results are classified and tabulated based on f and % values. The results showed that effective in-service training, redistributing the subjects throughout grades, and preparing guide books were necessary.en_US
