YÖNETİCİ VE LİDER KAVRAMLARINA İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ: BİR METAFOR ÇALIŞMASI

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı; öğretmenlerin “Yönetici” ve “Lider” kavramlarına ilişkin metaforik algılarını saptamaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılının 2. döneminde Bolu ili merkez ilçe sınırları içerisinde yer alan okulöncesi, ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan toplam 493 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin “Yönetici” ve “Lider” kavramlarına yükledikleri metaforik anlamların ortaya çıkartılıp incelenmesini amaçlayan bu çalışmada olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni, verileri toplamak için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde kodlama, temaların bulunması, verilerin kod ve temalara göre örgütlenmesi aşamalarından oluşan içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin algılarına dayalı olarak “Yönetici” kavramına ilişkin 108 adet metafor üretilmiştir. Öğretmenler tarafından üretilen 108 adet metafor araştırmacılar tarafından 10 kategori altında toplanmıştır. Öğretmenler tarafından üretilen en çok beş metafor incelendiğinde sırasıyla; Takım Kaptanı, Pusula, Orkestra Şefi, Gemi Kaptanı ve Komutan olduğu görülmektedir. Öğretmenlerin algılarına dayalı olarak “Lider” kavramına ilişkin 163 adet metafor üretilmiştir. Bu metaforlar araştırmacılar tarafından 8 kategori altında toplanmıştır. En çok üretilen beş metafor sırasıyla; Öğretmen, Güneş, Beyin, Komutan ve Atatürk olduğu görülmektedir.
The aim of this study is to determine the metaphorical perceptions of teachers about the concepts of Administrator and Leadership. The study group consists of 493 teachers working in preschool, primary, secondary and high schools located in the central districts of Bolu province in the 2nd period of the 2017-2018 academic years. In this study, which aims to reveal and examine the metaphorical meanings attributed to the concepts of “Manager“ and “Leader in by the teachers, the phenomenology pattern and semi-structured interview form were used to collect the data. In the analysis of data, content analysis was used. It consists of coding, finding themes, organizing data according to codes and themes. Based on the perceptions of the teachers, 108 metaphors were produced for the concept of Administrator. 108 metaphors produced by teachers were collected by researchers in 10 categories. When the five metaphors produced by the teachers are examined; Team captain, Compass, Conductor, Ship Captain and Commander are seen. Based on the perceptions of the teachers, 163 metaphors were produced regarding the concept of Leadership. 163 metaphors produced by teachers were collected by researchers in 8 categories. The most five metaphors in the production respectively; Teacher, Sun, Brain, Commander and Atatürk are seen.
