How to apply the statute of limitations for torts, whether to apply the criminal statute of limitations in compensation cases arising from competition violations requiring administrative fines, the beginning of the statute of limitations, the reasons for stopping and interrupting the statute of limitations are issues that should be discussed. In particular, the fact that the Supreme Court has started implementing the criminal statute of limitations in recent years and has been steadily maintaining this practice increases the importance of the issue. In this study, the limitation periods that should be applied in case of competition violations and the application principles related to this are discussed.
