Öğe A Case of Confluent and Reticulated Papillomatosis Treated with a Combination of Topical Calcipotriol and Tretinoin(Galenos Yayincilik, 2013) Turan, Aysegul; Baskan, Emel Bulbul; Turan, Hakan; Adim, Saduman Balaban; Saricaoglu, HayriyeConfluent and reticulated papillomatosis (CRP) is a dermatosis first described by Gougerot and Carteaud. It is proposed to occur as a result of abnormal host response to Pityrosporum ovale or to be a keratinization disorder. Clinically, brownish hyperkeratotic, reticular papules and plaques which tend to coalesce are seen on seborrheic areas. A 16-year-old female patient admitted to our outpatient clinic because of itchy brown spots on her neck, anterior trunk and the back region for three years. She was diagnosed as CRP due to the clinical and histopathological findings and was treated successfully with a combination of topical calcipotriol and tretinoin. We aimed to review the clinical findings and treatment options of CRP, a rare dermatosis, in the light of the literature on the occasion of this case.Öğe Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis Syndrome: A Case Report(Galenos Yayincilik, 2014) Turan, Hakan; Besir, Fahri Halit; Uslu, Esma; Basar, Feyza; Gun, Emrah; Gecer, YavuzCongenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis syndrome is a rare, autosomal recessively inherited syndrome caused by neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase 1 gene mutation. LM is a traditional term for atypical pigmented macular lesions. LM occurs on severely sun damaged skin and it is usually on the face of elderly patients. Histological diagnosis of atypical pigmented macular lesions have extensive range from solar lentigo to in-situ melanoma (lentigo maligna pattern) or invasive invasive melanoma (lentigo maligna melanoma). The presence of solar lentigo, pigmented actinic keratosis, or reticulated seborrheic keratosis in incisional specimen could misguide the pathologist and clinician, they might think that lentigo maligna is not present. Therefore, excisional biopsy is needed in such cases. Our aim in presenting this case was to emphasize the importance of clinicopathologic correlation and to attract attention on the lesions adjacent to lentigo maligna which can lead to a misdiagnosis.Öğe Prurigo Pigmentosa: A Case Report(Galenos Yayincilik, 2013) Turan, Hakan; Acer, Ersoy; Albayrak, Hulya; Uslu, Esma; Ayaz, Nusret; Basar, Feyza; Aliagaoglu, CihangirÖğe What is your diagnosis(Deri Zuhrevi Hastaliklar Dernegi, 2013) Turan, Hakan; Erdem, HavvaÖğe What is your diagnosis 1?(Deri Zuhrevi Hastaliklar Dernegi, 2015) Turan, Hakan; Uslu, Esma; Yavuzcan, Gizem; Basar, Feyza; Erdem, HavvaÖğe What is your diagnosis 1?(Deri Zuhrevi Hastaliklar Dernegi, 2015) Turan, Hakan; Uslu, Esma; Erdem, Havva; Basar, FeyzaÖğe What is your diagnosis?(Turkish Soc Dermatology Venerology, 2016) Turan, Hakan; Oktay, Murat; Uslu, Esma; Aliagaoglu, CihangirÖğe What is your diagnosis?(Deri Zuhrevi Hastaliklar Dernegi, 2013) Turan, Hakan; Albayrak, Hulya; Gurlevik, Zehra; Kucukcakir, Oguz; Oktay, Murat
