Öğe The flora of the Köyce?iz-Dalyan specially protected area (Mu?la-Turkey)(1996) Güner, Adil; Vural, Mecit; Duman, Hayri; Dönmez, Ali Aslan; Şağban, HaşimThe field studies have been made to determine the flora of Köyce?lz-Dalyan SPA during 1991 and 1992. Almost 2500 plant specimens were collected in these studies. After the identification of these specimens, 924 taxa at specific and subpecific ranks were determined. The essential details of these taxa are given below. The largest family is Poaceae (88 species) and the second is Fabaceae (86 species). The largest genus is Allium L. (16 species) an the second is Euphorbia L. (15 species). The Köyce?iz- Dalyan SPA is in the Mediterranean phytogenographical region. The phytogeographical spectrum of the species is as follows: East Mediterranean elements number 202; Mediterranean elements. 178: Euro-Siberian elements, 38 and Irano-Turanians, 18. Hydrocotyle vulgaris L. (Apiaceae). Anthemis melanolepis Boiss. (Asteraceae). Onopordum majoru Beauverd (Asteraceae) and Linum maritimum L. (Linaceae) have been recorded in Turkey for the first time.Öğe Muscari muglaensis (Asparagaceae, Scilloideae), a new species from southwestern Anatolia(Magnolia Press, 2020) Eker, İsmail; Duman, Hayri; Yıldırm, HasanA new species, Muscari muglaensis Eker, H.Duman & Yildirim sp. nov. (Asparagaceae) from Turkey, is described and illustrated. It is morphologically similar to M. weissii, M. comosum, M. cycladicum and M. elmasii, but differs mainly by its large bulbs and fruit structure from M. weissii and M. comosum, and long pedicels of fertile flowers and transversely growing raceme in fruit fromM cycladicum andM elmasii. In this study, a comprehensive description, diagnostic characters, original photographs, detailed illustration, geographical distribution, conservation assessment, identification key, observations, and taxonomic comments on the new species are presented.Öğe A new record for the flora of Turkey(1996) Duman, Hayri; Güner, AdilSicyos angulatus L. Duman, Guner & H. Sagban sp. nov., is described and illustrated. The species is restricted to the south-western corner of Anatolia growing on coastal limestone cliffs. Diagnostic morphologic characters for a detailed discrimination from the most similar taxa are discussed.
